Steve Crown, a popular Nigerian Gospel singer, was born as Steve Crown Uche Okolo on September 27, 1990, in Abuja, Nigeria. He comes from a devout Orthodox family and was raised in Abuja, though he is originally from Benue State.
As a child, Steve Crown had aspirations of becoming a lawyer and pursued his education accordingly, first obtaining a Diploma in Law from the University of Abuja and later studying Office Technology and Management at Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda in Zamfara State. Despite his early career aspirations, at the age of 31, he has become a successful gospel singer.
